MISSION
Our
Vision
*
We believe that God has raised up this local church to be a
beacon in the midst of wide-spread apostasy, paganism, and spiritual darkness.
As contenders for the Biblical tenets of the Christian faith, we are 21st
century watchmen sent to warn our fellow man about the dangerous times that lie
ahead, that they might repent and turn to God in faith, and encourage our
brethren to be strong in the Lord Jesus until His glorious appearing .
Our Mission
*
Evangelize our community, nation, and
the world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; we accomplish this through
the regular preaching of the word of God, personal soul-winning, and our
world-wide missions program.
* Educate our members in the
precepts, and statutes of the Holy Scriptures that they may be furnished unto
good works, and be wise to deliver themselves from the evil philosophy of this
world system. This is accomplished through our Sunday school, Christian Academy,
and Bible Training ministries.
* Encourage our members to be
faithful to God in all things and lead healthy Spirit filled lives.
Our
Purpose
Victory Baptist
Church of Tampa exists to provide a faithful Christian witness in Tampa,
Florida; that men and women may come to know and love the one true God, and
Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
